The very first patent on a wall bed was for one that could hide away inside a closet. The closet bifold, a modern example of that same design, is a self-supporting model that attaches to the floor or wall. Available in single, double or queen sizes, it easily closes into an upright position with just one arm. While it is not as pretty or as robust as our aluminum or steel frames it is our most economical, installed Murphy.
